Hello there.

I am Irene, an Interaction Designer and Researcher.

I am currently a PhD student and a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Informatics of Università della Svizzera italiana (USI).

My research project, titled , focuses on understanding how gender is inscribed in technology and how we can use technology as a moral prompt to initiate discussions on gender stereotypes and biases with children.

I love typography design, old books, history podcasts, and my three adopted sloths — Luiza, Croissant and Jack.

If I am not obsessing over my latest read, you’ll find me pouring resources into my genealogy tree updates, blasting music at a considerably high volume, and pretending that my work will matter one day.

And that’s all, I guess.

But hey, if you’re up for it, you can check out the boring stuff on my CV.
